DR. DOUG QUINN TO SPEAK ON THE COLLEGE
LIVING EXPERIENCE
PROGRAM AT ROTARY CLUB OF MONTEREY PACIFIC
MONTEREY, Calif. December 31, 2007 —
On January 3, 2008, Dr. Doug Quinn,
Executive Director for the College Living
Experience, will speak at Embassy Suites at
5:15 p.m. for the Rotary Club of Monterey
Pacific. The club meets every Thursday at
5:15 p.m. at Embassy Suites in Seaside,
California. Programs are open to the public
however reservations must be made in advance
by calling 831-320-9774.
ABOUT COLLEGE LIVING EXPERIENCE:
The College Living Experience (CLE) is a
post-secondary program that provides
intensive assistance with academic,
independent living and social skills to
college students with special needs as they
transition to become independent adults.
Learning issues that CLE works with include:
ADD, ADHD, Autism, Asperger's and Nonverbal
Learning Disorders, among others. CLE
transition programs assist students
throughout the college process, from
registration to orientation to study to
life-skills development.
