2007-2008 ROTARY INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT
WILFRED J. WILKINSON TO SPEAK IN CARMEL
VALLEY
First Luncheon with a Sitting Rotary
International President on the Monterey
Peninsula
MONTEREY,
Calif. August 1, 2007— The 2007-2008
Rotary International President, Wilfred J.
Wilkinson, will speak at Rancho Canada in
Carmel Valley on August 15, 2007 at 12:00
noon. The luncheon is sponsored jointly by
the Rotary Club of Monterey Pacific and
Carmel Valley and reservations are required
in advance by calling 800-977-1910. The
engagement is open to the public and costs
$30 per person.
This will be
the first time a sitting Rotary
International President has addressed an
audience on the Monterey Peninsula. As the
president of Rotary International, Wilkinson
leads 1.2 million volunteers towards
Rotary’s goal of world peace and
understanding. For 42 years, Wilkinson has
been a leader in Rotary International and is
known throughout the world for his personal
contributions of humanitarian service and
goodwill. He has served virtually every
position at the club, district and
International level.
